Old LP system was crappy. New LP system is total shit. LP gain is totaly new, but LP spend options are the same. That's what happens when game developers do not have game design expirience. You ought to balance LP gain options against LP spend options. You can't just redesign one of them. That leads to disbalance.
Confused and know not what to do? Kill everybody!

Honestly, can't you people look around the forums a bit and see that people have already said this a million times over? No need to go smearing it everywhere. Thanks. :|

Well, in my opinion I love the system so far. But I have some "diferences" on the next points:

1) Hunting. I just hope I dont kill a bear just for the food/bone/hide. Really, and specially I hope it's not just like "A chance to get a curiosity that will be stuck on you with 40ATT for 12 hours to give you 8k LP".

2) Non-macro things. Raiding an ant hill is 0 LP. That is non macreable, why cutting that? I know, several "Curiosities" but still, WHY?! (Ant hills just as an example of the LOAD of things that are clearly nonmacreable and still are at 0 LP, like foraging)

3) Balance. I know, I'm not even crying at this one, I'm just wondering the possibilities. At the very beginning sounds fair and ok, altho the timers are way too long for my taste, it sounds as a facebook game where the limit is INT. I'm currently at 23/23 just renewing the Dandelion/Cone cow and on longer times Ant Soldier and more stuff. I know, higher end the things you do, higher end the curiosities, but still TIMERS. Also, LP gain seems lower at the start, which is not followed with lowered requirements of low skills such as Yeo.

4) Leveling AFK alts. Ok, so imagine this high-end situation. I have a village, good Q, access to almost everything BLA BLA. So, as I have more than enough curiosities for our villagers I just farm the best, save them and start having an AFK Alt that will autolevel while I do stuff with my main. Now people dont even have to macro to level alts for stuff like murder/trespass and bla bla. Just feed them INT, give them highQ curiosities and drop them AFK.

As for "What I think may solve the issues I see":

1) No opinion, still have to test and see.
2) Start puting stuff that still gives LP when you do it, but ALL NON MACROABLE STUFF
3) Well, at least to make it A LITTLE bit more smooth and more like you feel you're getting something make it so that instead of handing out the FULL LP after finishing the curiosity, make it so it gives it over time (1 minute, whatever you may like). If it's a must I'm even happy if once you take off something from the study inventory it disappears (just to avoid bugs)
4) Still dont see a way to avoid this except stopping double client (Which is not easy at all, and of course, this is an indie game, not hoping for a strong measure on double clients).
Do you want see right through the devil's eyes?
You must have seen the ground where they all stood before
I was a young man then, I was a young man then
Spending my time on the killing floor
Be more than you seem to be
Joy of labour sets you free.

Wow, all of your characters must have been so advanced to have such an impressive amount of LP. I bet you were some sort of World 4 Demi-God!
What happens after you run out of your 12 items to discover.

In World 4 after a slow and tedious start I was able to kill boars for 3150LP with 300% learning, this doesn't scale. Skills start costing 5000LP to tick off once.

Because we totally know how much LP pearl and gold curiosities are going to give.

By that logic you only need one character to have multiple amazing accounts.

One active character you consistently play on to find curiosities, since you can't double up on them why not stack them in a crate. If you're efficient enough you'll have enough crates to constantly sit on 4 players or so - And all those players need to do to level and catch up is grab an item from a box.

Not to mention you get the curiosities from doing simple tasks. That is what bots are designed to do, simple tasks. Someone will just bot this process and it will become 10x more efficient than the last for macro users.

I sincerely question the forethought that went into this other than "Oh thats a good idea!" and implementing it in a single night.
