Better off blocking it in with sign posts and shooting it from a boat, can do what with a crappy sling and about 15-20 marksmanship easy.

My marksmanship is at 20, but I already tried killing a fox and after 1 or 2 shots, it just runs away. I also found another fox recently and tried to trap it with roundpole fence, but when I would start building the 1st cornerpost, it would move somewhere else. How do I do a 1 shot kill against a fox? Also, during what time of day (ingame) are foxes most common?

you don't need to build it just put the build shortcut on your hot bar and put one stick in the sign post.

One problem though: On wiki it says that foxes can now break sign posts after world 4. Does that still count for w5? Or does it mean that they won't destroy the cornerpost construction sign as an exception for that rule?

Edit: Sorry for all the questions. I'm very new to combat on H & H.

I know it can if you are not in a boat, don't think it can if you are in a boat but have not killed a fox in a long time. :P

My first boat is still in the process of being built, but has been neglected for some time now. I guess it's time for me to finish that boat!

Didn't someone already mock your sig quite a lot? Because you're making a whole thread about how you have no combat skills, and yet have deliberately edited your sig to claim you might be capable of a fight. I think if I met you I would have to stand there and buy rage just so that I could punch you in the face and watch as you flailed around and tripped over your shoelaces (or, rather more likely, I would freeze and lag out, leaving you enough time to hire someone else to punch me in the face in return. but I can dream....)

I know I rarely ask people not to post certain things and that it is often seen as rude but if your only input is criticizing someone's signature or portrait then take it to PMs. It really adds nothing to any argument or thread. Please and thank you~

I do have a mountain sort-of close by (takes around 17min to get there), but no one nearby has a planted tree (not even inside a stake claim).

P.S. my sling quality is not 12, it's 19.

What I mean in my signature is that I will only attack in self-defence for my hearthling.
