yea, hence why i just have my char just crawlin through the swamp gettin me them. i also get leaches this way which are very good fish bait. though i never do real big swamps, but small to midsize ones so as i get better chances of catchin them buggers. too bad there wasnt a "butterfly net" kinda craft that increases our catch range.

but you make do with what your given

Personally, I have walk on, and just stand in the middle of a swamp with a bunch of dragon flies, then when one flies on a path that will go near me, I move over to intercept its path, then click on it. Can take a bit of skill with the mouse, but it works very well for me.

do me another favor. u dont wanna get griefed to death then read up on ole Avu's post. it's meant for villages but if your new it'll help you too.

as for me, my lil homestead is in the middle of BFE. you cannot see my homestead from the lakes around it(zoom out the mini map and the 3+ lakes and river by my place cannot be seen)

remember wells are inconvient but not as inconvient as a death or a razed settlement.

ty, thats was very useful. In world 4 I jsut had a palisade but it was pretty inland but was always careful about being outside and never had any issues with people. but reading the forums it seems world 6 is very different. so far its been positive:)

they are easy as fuck to catch. just keep them at distance and when trhy fly in your direction, rightclick. it helps if you have the mod from user0815 or whatever his name is.
