I tryed now 6 different PCs and all have the same Problems. liberay is a nice idea but the next is 25 km away There must be a way to play this game.

1. Pls check your Firewall and Router Settings. In router Ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 must be open.

2. Pls check your Java Installation: http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp

3. Post info here: What Java version, which client (default web or Ender 32 or 64Bit) ?

Pls report back so that we can circle in the problem and hopefully solve...

i checked firewall and router it's okey.

and java checked i have instaled

java version: Java SE 7 Update 05 x86

i instaled new drivers for grafic... and instaled net. framework 4.0 .... and i dont know what to do... im angry for this

There was a thread a while back about a virus getting into Java and it would cause problems like that. Just uninstalling and reinstalling won't fix it, though. Java needs to be cleanly removed. There are instructions and utilities for this on the net.

I wish I could. I can't remember what I was digging for when I found it. It was about the time I started playing in the Salem alpha and I was having issues with it. I came across that thread and figured "what the heck, give it a try" and the problems were resolved. The issue might not be from the same cause, but the resolution might be the same. Personally, I didn't bother with any of the utilities, I just made sure that my registry didn't have any Java related files and that there were no Java temp files left on my computer.

Hmmm i only know about trojan issues with java 1.6 before update 11 and this Mac flashback stuff...but anyways he ran a virus scan with an "ok" Scanner and didn't found anything...i guess it's prolly his very! old computer and only 1 GB Ram...we're working on it...

On a sidenote: funny enough while fiddling to get a local client running Salem Beta i discovered that Java Prefs in registry are stored in a folder named salem inside the haven folder
