Do neither. Do a "Getting started" tutorial. As of now the game's way of teaching you is a pile of shit. Make one to show newbies how to get out of the starting area, how to get a little camp started and blah. Enough so they can at least survive.

good idea, your statement was spot on and exactlly why my first character died (mostly from sheer frustration)..lol A good "here's where you start, walk here...and go"...video would be a great help to noobs.

The game teaches you?

I had no idea. I just learned from the wiki.

I'll make a new character and show how to get him out of the RoB area.

The games way of teaching you is self discovery. Learning on your own by just experimenting.

Nice tutorials. Yours are the only h&h videos i can find in youtube.

A prospecting/finding a mine tutorial would be greatly appreciated. :)
