How do I kill a bear?

lol i trapped it at a few hearth fire and some boats, but ran out of stones...if only I had a brave to deliver me stones

okay...so far from trying it out with my furnitures at my house with a bear that keeps on visit me for fish have uncovered that go through a plow either. You can walk through your own hearth fire, but the bear can't. It also dumb enough to not go around if you are on the same grid as your hearth fire e.g. standing right on it or next to it, but once you leave that adjacent grid it will run around things again. Now if soome one find out a way to retrieve stones without losing aggro, please tell me.

Well. I found very simple method to kill the Bear. First you must find stone near river or slope. Aggro bear, run and stand behind stone. Thats all. I managed to kill 4 bears that way.
New stones large enough not without the reason. They are for cheat!

Ive managed to kill bears from sniping them from the river, sometimes they run and sometimes they don't, if they do run get out the boat and it SHOULD go for you, then get back in your boat and you can finish it off

Doubt blaze two hitted them with his fist. Two hitting bears with a melee weapon half of wv did, there even was this time we could do it with one hit

That is not enough to two hit a bear. Hm although he may have two strangled it. That's not a problem whatsoever.

I was two strangling bears by the end with around 700 str.
