No, as far as you have butchered the animal, their parts never decay. The corpse itself decays if you don't butcher it in a few hours, but you can keep meat and intestines stored for unlimited amounts of time.

Could I kill an entire heard of Auroch and take them home 1 by 1 via boat? I don't live very near the area I've killed these guys.

The corpses don't disappear with map unloads, only the live animals do.

Also, you can carry 2 at a time by boat (since the boat can carry 2 items in it).

Thank you dagrimreefah for the images. They dont help as much, since they dont show the combat bars So I still dont know if I am bugged or if the client is showing the information properly.

My main issue with ranged combat (as melee combat just leaves me unconsious) is that it lacks visual aids on the action bars during combat to tell me that I am close to killing the target or if my attacks are futile and I am just wasting time and stones.

Hi I can not seem to get my character to fish.

I have equiped the pole, string, hook and bait and they are all together fine. I got the fishing skill and when I saw a spot that fish were jumping out of the water I left clicked on the fish with the hook icon and my character just walked up to the water and i got a message saying "you need the swimming skill to cross the water".

Does anyone know why its not working??

If the "spot"(node) was in the middle of the river...then the answer would be to either swim and fish(I don't think that's actually possible) or grab a boat and go fishing.

you just need to click on the water in front of you standing where you see fish, if you get the swimming message just click closer to the shore - boat for fishing is good but not absolutely needed...
