Just normal fish, so far :)
But my cave-fish node is a long walk away, and not of amazing quality, so I haven't done much fishing there.

Well, yeah, but I've heard tell that certain species can be found more frequently underground, but those are just rumors I don't want to propagate without some better proof.

Hello, I didn't want to make a completely new thread for this and it isn't really a gameplay question.

I saw a screenshot of a gentleman who seemed to have a texture/skin whatever you call it for cupboards that made them almost look like a tile.

Really flat.

Does anyone know where I can get that?

Do Boars regain health or something similar?
I ask because I was slinging down a boar, then proceeding to chase him through a swamp for a bit, then out of nowhere he goes from being passive to aggressive.

Is that normal?

Because the wiki page on mining is cruddy.
Is this a proper way to snake?
Image
perhaps the snake should start further in as well as other snakes toward west.
mining 3 tiles directly west from the edge in this image is stupid apparently.
sooo three or four snakes per mine support?
obviously you should not mine the whole area of the mine support if you want to snake out of it.
the area of a cave-in is dependent on the size of emptied space i guess.
and the description about how to make a walkable path though a snake isn't that clear.
i'm supposedly physically touch the wall to mine it right? It's impossible to do it like the image on the wiki says to do it.
Work on a mining thread for me. Here are my shitty mining notes. http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31382&p=442398#p442398

1. Set slowest moving speed (for better positioning).
2. Mine exact from cell's corner (black cells right behind).

By using this method
- you can dig long tunnels 1 cell width. When need, you can expand such tunnels by 1 cell (make 2 cells width).
- you can mine without mine supports

But miner must be very careful: dig in slowest moving speed right from cell corner.

@FictionRyu
Boars do not regain health. That is pretty normal when they just change from passive to agressive.

Hey, guys...

Any idea on what the formula for Curd quality is? The wiki doesn't seem to have this information... (or I couldn't find it).

Thank you very much.

The straight mining method is, as far as I'm aware, a bug and nobody has had the time to fix it. Second, it's dangerous unless you're well practiced. It's not hard, just tedious. It's helpful if you're using one of the third party clients with WASD movement.

If you want to snake out from under a mine support, you need to only dig out half the radius, snake out until you're a couple twists away, and then you can go back and mine out the rest of the area. If the area is already mined out, I suggest building another support
