Probably poppy flower or cone cows, depending on the quality you get. Problem about cone cows is that you have to change it every 20 minutes, poppy flower lasts 16 hours. Both use only 1 mental weigh.

But I must admit that question is very weird and it really depends on what you mean by "LEAST amount of mental weigh".

It was just a random pondering I wanted to know.
Scooby Doo taught us that the real monsters are humans.

Before taking into account quality (as well as accessability), it's River Pearls by far.

Once you consider quality and ease of obtaining copious amounts of said curiosity, it turns into a grey area.

snake mining is effective because the non-mined tiles behind the miner are enough to support the tunnel i'm guessing. looks like that a 1 single unmined tile behind the miner isn't enough to support a cave in. Should a miner attempt to mine in such a way that the miner should position himself with as much unmined tiles behind him for maximum precaution? This was how I observed that gif. Learning to dig at the corner really helps here.
Should I maybe make my own thread about mining?

Oh yeah another thing: multiples snakes are safe?
Work on a mining thread for me. Here are my shitty mining notes. http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31382&p=442398#p442398

Multiple snake mines will not induce cave-ins unless you merge them. The more tiles consecutively mined out without mine supports increases the odds of a cave-in. You can still cause a cave-in even while snake mining. The only 100% safe way to mine is to mine with supports.

Once a cave-in has occurred, the rocks that fall increase the odds of a cave-in. Cave-ins do not need a full tile to fall in or an empty tile to fall in. They will very happily land on you, or on unmined tiles, or even on buildings.

1. The wiki says to 'leave milk for calfs"

How much milk does a calf need per day?

I've just been milking all my cows whenever I can, not leaving a cow with some milk left.

Can the calf die? does it's quality or something get reduced?

2. How much meat does a pig give? are they completely identical to boars in regards to the materials you can harvest from them?

1. A calf can die and its quality will be reduced. Milk in a barrel that the calves have access to works just fine. I forget how much they need a day.
2. No. They vary depending on generation and traits. Pigs gain quality and quantity of meat as they breed. You can get hundreds of meat from a good pig. Piglets give less eat than full grown pigs.

From my observation, snaking seems to be entirely safe but this is assuming that there is no human error, which can and will happen.

The other danger is trolls appearing and they will appear in snake tunnels, something not even mine support can prevent.

Essentially, it is best not to mine with anything aside from a miner alt. To preserve the amount of cheese to invest, have the alt wear a helmet so it might survive an accident cave-in. For trolls, make a boulder cage with a 1 tile opening as trolls will not be able to pass through it while you can so when you encounter one, you can sprint over to the cage.

I finally made my boat, but when I click on "Avast!" I dont move, and I don't get on the boat ... I'm scared of trying to lift the boat closer to water, because idk if it can disappear like other items (when you drop them in water).

Thanks for any help!
