Fox,... don't break signs

This got changed at some point then. They were plowing through signs but wouldn't break a fence. (Shows you how long it's been since I've had to worry about getting beat up by a fox )

I just entered my first cave, and just can't leave it! Oh noes! Maybe one of you have an idea of what should I do? I just tried clicking with left and right mouse button on the cave entrance, but my character simply tries to "walk" to the cave entrance.

Didn't see if this had been fully answered, so: if you can't exit, is there anything blocking it? Is the exit on a personal claim? If so, you need to have trespassing to walk out, even if you didn't need it to walk in (and you should get an error message about it being owned by another player). It could be a "broken" exit. There could be other server related problems, in which case logging out and back in might help.

@Teck: How did you come up with 529? 70 - 20 = 50 / 2 = 25 + 1 = 26 ^ 2 = 676, in which case only one person needs that much strength. The other only need 625 (25 + 26 + 20 = 71). (If both only have 625 STR, then exactly 70 damage is dealt and nothing gets through.)

Okay, see, people keep telling me this too and every time I test it foxes break right through the signs. So either foxes magically hate me and will bulldoze through signs only for me or something is up. I don't think that JLo modified this in World 6 but the last time I played was at the end of World 5.

Foxes don't break through signs if they're fleeing, not aggressive, or face to face with you. They also sometimes do not if they cannot path to you.

Yeah, I know you can use a bit of a "signpost" trap at a river or something, and as long as the fox doesn't try to plow through the signs, it won't break through. You can sometimes do the same thing with all the other animals, too. From my experience from trying this with deer and boars, they will occasionally figure out there's a sign there and plow through.

Yeah, the beginning of w4 is when the animal behaviors changed.

If you're dealing 34 damage with a Battering Ram via the formula found on wiki, and you have two people that have the exact same damage (strength), therefore 68, will you be able to take down a Brick Wall (70 soak)? Or do you absolutely need 70 soak to even damage it?

You won't damage it. Soak is straight damage reduction, so the bare minimum for you to do damage to the wall is for both of you to have 529 strength and you both must be using the ram together.

Iffin' you're doing 72 damage now via formula, you'll be hitting for 2 still correct? Bare minimum meaning without a huge amount of time, you'll still eventually break it down with 2 damage?

Alright, another question, how do people get those percentages on brick walls to show? I've seen it in screenshots, and apparently it shows hit points?
