Can I pave the area my animals are in? will not having any grass cause some unwanted effects?

Can I use signposts to fence them in? will animals pathfind through a 1 tile wide gap in the fence? they do it with boulders but don't do it with roundpole fences, atleast in my experience.

They wander around aimlessly, they will eventualy go thru it

I made a small mistake and put my house too close to the cliff. So I cant build a palisade all arround the house. So I wonder if I can build the palisade as marked with two blue lines. My question is; will this work out just as good as if I could build the palisade all the way arround? Or will it be possible to enter without breaking or easyer to break it because of this? I know that I will have to put up an extra palisade cornerpost (if I want a gate out ), but I'd rather make an extra one instead of rising a new house and kiln at this point.

Are you sure you can't plow/pave that last tile to have the pali go all the way around? It really looks like you can, I don't see how the house would be blocking it.

Yes, they do, but not on a consistent basis. It usually occurs when the rest of the game data is wiped, which, at the present rate, is about once every 8-9 months on average. Don't expect it to be any time soon, though. The server seems to be quite stable now (at least no grumpy reports from loftar about it).

Yeah, there is always demand for wallgrade bricks. Usual price is about 250 bricks for a pearl, but it may vary.
