You can't go over it. Just won't let you eat if you're gonna get over 100% overstuffed. ;)

Cutthroats are more for close combat fighters, archers usually wear steel plates.

So I've got a bit of a problem, I built my starting base with the intention of expanding widely around it and putting up a brick wall later, but there's a personal claim to the north of me. I was planning to remove it with a village claim revoke, but it's going to cost 930k Authority! It's not that big of a claim, really, and there's hardly anything in it (chicken coop, crate, and a bough bed..) The claim is getting in the way of my expansion, and I'm worried if I put up a brick wall it'll basically be pointless since any noob could put a ram almost directly next to it.. I am right in saying a battering ram can't be built on a personal claim, right? Either way I'd like to get rid of it.

So what do I do? getting up to 930 Authority cap, much less filling it with authority, would be ridiculous for my tiny village of 2 part-time players. Are there any tips/tricks to getting around this problem?

Trade for steel swords and start farming linen. If you can, buy a good village lawspeaker hat+robes. Get your village mate in a great merchants robe. Start growing cheese: Tasty Emmentaler, Jorbonzola, and Harmesan. http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Cheese

These will get you the int/cha you need to maintain and improve your authority. You can build rams on claims with vandalism. Declaim that claim. You have the right idea so stick with it. Expand outwards, build your brick wall, and get rid of that claim.

Hit the trade threads and find a good trader to work with. Trade is going to make it so much easier and faster.

Thanks TechXKnight
unrelated note: interesting that you became a mod, I don't believe you were a mod back in W4 when we talked before :P

Edit: Oh I've been meaning to ask, can you remove your own banners/statues afterwards? it's going to be quite a drain on authority, and we'll practically own the supergrid by the time we have enough (calculated it out to like 61 banners, if I got the right numbers and didn't f up the math)

Yes though you'll probably need a ram to break the statues. I recall destroying linen banners by hand in w3 and w4. Not sure what their exact soak is, my apologies.
You are also correct that my name became green in w5. =)
