How do I shear sheep and/or ram? I am right clicking and there is no option. (I have waited a solid 8 hours or more, so there definitely should be able to shear)

Wait longer and make sure you have a sharp tool such as a stone axe or sword equipped. The first time always seems to take longer than any subsequent shearing though I've never tested that before.

Okay it's been just about 24 hours since I first tamed a ram (and 23 since I tamed the sheep).

Still no wool.

what should I do to start hunting animals like foxes and deer? I have a bow and plenty of arrows but i dont know what i should increase besides my marksmanship

Perception. But for starting out, you'll probably do better with a sling. And deer are a pain in the arse until you have some decent stats, EVERYTHING else is easier than deer.

1.Have you discoveredthe rat yet? Also, you have to right click on the fire if you've moved away from it after you made the fire.

2. Like the last one, have you discovered the rabbit(wring it's neck then butcher)? Have you taken a dried bunny hide off of the drying rack yourself?

according to forum I posted previous at 4:57 PM.

On the day I posted that, I had tamed approximately 8 hours ago, and it was somewhere around 9 PM.

I go to bed after you tell me sometime after you tell me to wait, I wake up the next day around 12, get on soon after 1 (It's PM now), check the animals, still cannot shear, wait another hour, check, still can't shear, then I post again.

So actually it was a little more than 24 hours and I posted like this one you refer to, what? 16-17 hours? Don't know what the forum is talking about .

But it doesn't matter now, I sheared the sheep and ram the next day, so I presume it's fine for now.
