So make good use of things like rat in a stick, blueberries, chantreles, etc wich give you a little bit of each fep before you start gobbling the food you wanna use to raise your desired atribute.

its not the type of fep, but the variety of foods. if you eat a bunch of foods that have the same fep you get the exact same result(ie eating ant stuff when working on agility).

Wow, really? Never noticed that. Then someone make a pro tip with that.

"Most constructs that use fuel have a commonly known bug wich allows you to use less fuel than expected.
On ore smelters you place the ore and 1 charcoal then wait 16 minutes before lighting.
On finery forges place the cast iron and 1 charcoal then wait 8 minutes before lighting.

The kiln and oven also suffer from the same bug, but each thing you process in it has a specific waiting time."

Does anyone wanna contribute to this pro tip? I still have to add the ticks in branches info and so.

It's on the wiki. I rewrote it a few months back to make it very clear (at least as clear as I can make it). Some older players that didn't already know, it might be a surprise to.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

No. VS has 175% the attack weight of Sting, but attack delta is not linear.

At 100 MC vs. 100 MC, a Sting removes 44% DFN (all figures for 0 Adv and full attack bar, of course) and a VS removes 59%. That certainly doesn't remove almost double the amount of defense as Sting.

d = sqrt(AW / BW) / 2

When making a new char you can dig up the sand in the starting room, its pretty obvious but I thought it was worth mentioning

That's such an untrue statement. Fight someone who knows what they are doing, 250UA vs. 250MC.
My son, walk not in the way unarmed; because thou knowest not when thy enemy shall come upon thee.

UA has an attack that doesnt cost IP, flex and punch.

UA has more maneuvers, imagine a 250UA vs 250MC fight.
Death or glory: UA gains IP 3x faster than MC
Oak stance: Your defense is always easier to keep up with oak stance, flex and ocasional slide.
Bloodlust: You can keep the pressure on enemy with bloodlust, the risk isnt too high because he has to avoid getting hit and cant afford to attack.
Combat meditation: Allows you to make the long cooldown moves without such a big wait, and you only need to swap after you dont need it.

So what does melle combat have?

Its attacks deal alot more hp damage, that doesnt matter much in a fight wich you cannot dominate.
A maneuver that gives you a bit higher defence wich in my opinion only seems to be superior to UA's variety of moves at extremely high lvl fights, not 250 vs 250.
An attack that costs 6 IP, does a little bit more damage to defense bar and resets advantage to 0 (wich can be used to your advantage or disadvantage).

Sting has more weight then punch, you can 1 shot people if you hit them when they have low defense, you have a higher defensive weight.

Equal levels standing still and just slugging it out would go in UA's favour, though. You gotta Thunder a bit before you go in.
