how do i find spruce tree's?

I thought that was quite self evident. From an apple tree sappling, you get apple trees. From cows you get cows, sheep make sheep, chickens make chickens, and trees just make more trees like themself. I never heard of mulberry trees coming from apple trees

okay sorry i was just wondering because i can only get a sapling from one type of tree.

well, usually you take cones, samaras, whatever the tree has as food or seeds, and plant it in the pot etc. Thing is, a sapling doesnt always appear, and when it does, you need to plant it soon. If you know you wont be online for a day, you may not want to put any treeplanters pots on the table

okay cool. but im pretty sure can manage to get on at least once day. Good advice though. cause what i think im going to do is chop down all the trees im not using right now but regrow them later on or at least the trees i want growing in my area. my little camp is starting to get so big its showing up on the mini map =) i cant wait to be able to make better walls, so i can start protecting my supplies and stuff.

Iv been looking all over, all kinds of trees everywhere but no spruce? iv got this little camp going. hopefully it will grow bigger. but right now i cant make over half the things i have the ability to because i cant find spruce tree's...

also how do i get string? i need to make a sling.

to answer your question, you either ask some one very nicely for some seeds to get hemp, or you get your perception and exploration up to find wild Winston weed, you dry the weed for random seeds, I keep getting tobaco but have only dried like 2 of them so far.
