can wicker baskets beat that?

If you only have a Q10 saw, yes. But I stated that before.

i doubt baskets can hit 50k an hour. The main thing is having to split all those logs. Talk about annoying :) I'll stick to deforestation.

i did mention before, that this may not be the most time efficient way

i do know in the last world lots of areas had a death penalty on anyone cutting donw a tree and getting caught without permission

you dont care, go ahead. Those who want max lp out of available resources and have a bit of extra time, do as stated before, though i dont know if baskets are better at lp than double lighting. double lighting fires is very, very time consuming though.

y'know, you can actually make friends by grinding wheat, but only enemies by grinding buckets

here is my 2 cents. mining. even if all your getting is stone. its not viable at first, but once you can do it, your golden, plus if/when you get a pickax, the gains in LP are fucking amazing. not so much that it needs to be nerfed, but enough to make it worth your time.

This. Plus it generates hunger pretty fast which lets you raise your stats.

How can branch baskets compare against that?

Assuming with 360% LA: I get 24 blocks from average tree (2 logs) which is 72LP for each breadbasket = 1728 LP from one tree.

I do it much much faster for 1336 LP and with improved saw q and carpentry skill I can get even more u r stuck with that... HF

I already said that this is only better than bucket grinding if you don't have access to a high Q saw. If you would only read my posts, we wouldn't have this stupid discussion.

Mining beats your silly buckets anyway though.

I humbly take back what I've said earlier in this thread about wicker baskets vs. breadbaskets. Wicker baskets are indeed more LP, just more annoying to make.

But I'm in agreement with those saying that double-lighting campfires is the best and quickest LP to farm of all the methods listed so far. It's still mind-numbing tedium, of course, but that's what grinding is after all.

It is not even close. Mining is by far the best lp method this world.
