So going for the best time/lp ratio might not always be the best option in fact.
If you are looged off 6hours and have only 1hour timer curiosity you just lost a lot, so you still need to mix them up, whatever effectivness they seam to have on a table.
I have a auroch hair on my study screen since the first day i wonder how much lp i'll get from it, i hope more than few hundreds, but i'm not dreaming either.

Good luck with your auroch hair, after a HUGE disappoint from Cat Gold (Which really is the WORST item I imagine that there is available at the moment) I now am going with the normal ones and testing only the "new" ones that seems to have a max of 24 hour timer. No way I spend my precious ATT for new 48hourscrap.
Do you want see right through the devil's eyes?
You must have seen the ground where they all stood before
I was a young man then, I was a young man then
Spending my time on the killing floor

A Q13 Ant Empress gave me 9849 LP at 216% when I finished studying her. Before the modifier, she gave me 4560 LP in 200 minutes.

Cat Gold being utter shit in terms of LP/hour is understandable though, as it could be obtained rather easy via botting.

Ye absolutly. My comment was throwed for the sake of it, wasn't a critic.

The way I value curiosities is ((LP gain) / sqrt (attention)) / sqrt (hours to study)

IMO attention shouldn't decrease the value of a curiosity linearly because you only have 16 squares in the study room; once people get decent int values, low-attention low-LP curiosities won't be as worth it because they take up more space than they're worth.

The reason hours to study is nonlinear is obvious, everyone would prefer 1000 LP in 10 hours than 100 in 1 hour.

So you think a curiosity that gives 1000 Lp in 10 hours for 1 Att should get a value of 300+ while one that gives 200 Lp in 1 hour should only get 200??

When you are online curiosities with a small time requirement should actually be preferred over ones that take longer but give the same amount of LP/time since you can take advantage of the Lp gain to possibly get more/better q curiosities.

I really disagree, the amount of LP you gain in one session is too insignificant.. I'd rather take a slight docking in efficiency as long as I can have all of my attention resources busy all of the time, online or off.

But hey, these rankings are provisional, we all have our own strategies :D that's why Jorb/Lof made curiosities for all sorts of times and attention costs.
