Why would you use two steel for a statue instead of just a bunch of extra linen for banners? just for a larger claim?

Nova, is that enough beehives to keep everything growing at top speed? Also does anyone know if a hive gets more honey when it is full on wax?

Thanks everyone for the extra tips and tricks. I didn't realize you could plant from seed bags and rage at my lack of wiki reading comprehension. I think the best trick would be to harvest your field and dump everything into a large chest, then shift+control+mouse wheel the top 16 seeds into your seed bags, then plant directly fron there. Barring that (My village has no large chests yet, I doubt most newb villages do) a cabin with cabinents in it would be best.

On enders at least (not sure if it's a native feature or not) for fast planting: Shift + right click to plant a seed. Auto picks up another random seed from your inventory to plant. Less hassle than dealing with seedbags.

As for honey, I wouldn't believe so. The chance to produce honey/wax is set, if you're capped it gets wasted. I'm not sure if it's probability based, or if it alternates 2 honey for 1 wax. I've been noticing an odd pattern there, it might go (honey honey wax) unless I'm getting some serious sample errors.

I use seedbags to harvest gazilions of flax at once, then replant them easily. Alternatively, you can empty thme all in cupboards if you rly feel like sorting them out.

Seedbag, in my opinion is good for stuff you dont really have to sort, like mass hemp/flax field for linen cloth (banner/wagon), mass wheat fields for mansion or just crap flour.

Having to move bag into cupboard then seeds into another cupboard then sort it and back into bag will drive me crazy.

Yes.

It wouldn't be half as bad if there was a mechanism of emptying seedbag directly into cupboard. But alas ...
