Oh then never mind. Still my latter points apply. The game does lack defensive capabilities and has too large margin of character development. Communities do little to affect one's defensive capability and as stated only increase the amount of damage that an offender can inflict.

People are rotten and evil deep deep inside.

Imagine that you have immortality and don't have to suffer consequence for all your action IRL. What would you do? ^_^

I would use my immortality to pull off crazy stunts to get laid, and then I wouldn't call them.

Perhaps an effective solution would to be to somehow raise the punishment for 'griefing' within a town? Increased safety within a town by reducing trading capabilities or introducing a modifier/stat that identifies that character as being a bad person. Then their interaction with everyone except other bad people would take a negative turn. This might have a considerable effect on their gameplay. I suppose the main failing in this idea is Alts. I am sure someone with better know how can tweak it to make it fit Haven and Hearth?

Wait, what? How the heck can you introduce a fixed definition of something -extremely- abstract and subjective?

VILLAGE REPUTATION!!!!! I love it!

Village members can rep each other positive or negative and it would somehow affect your stat! That has some MAJOR drama potential!

No, it would have no actual game effect. It would only be viewable by other villagers. It would be a purely social function.

Singular. As in it would be its own stat. Rating, w/e.
