I guess I should qualify my previous post a bit better. Apologies for any confusion it might have caused.

Trolls (and animals in general) can't break human skeletons.

Just a quick question. I was sparring with a village-mate today and I kept getting advantage without using any skills or attacking. Is there a move he was using that gives the opponent advantage?!

MOVE SPEED: RANK1 (= player crawl speed)
Attack/def meter auto regen: every 3sec 2-->3-->2-->3 (same with player)
(if ant use keep skill cast, the meter regen Temporary no work)

Boar fight

Postby gogis » Wed Jul 24, 2013 9:41 am

vs Boar, I definetely kill it, but I want more insights.

Current stats: 80UAC, 118str, 21agi(all this armor negs)

My strategy
I pretty much always use Dodge as stance, I dont have enough weight with Bloodlust/Oak, this stances soak up my overall energies way to fast.
I use FLAB and Seize as means to get advantage, I didnt liked Skuld+Charge - it's seems slower/drain my energies.
I am aware that FLAB gives initiative to boar and he will use his advantage move more often but from my experience i gain both lines % and keep advantage intact if I use FLAB indefenitely. My advantage comes from times when I can spam Seize.
Overall I keep switching between FLAB/Seize/Jump/Charge/Slide till I get 12IP and 2-5 advantage and use combo Punch/Sting/KTTO and its always do damage. Usualy 2-3 hits is a kill. I think all process is ~15 mins.

What can I do to improve it?

no, not really. still pretty accurate, but not complete. the moves that were "balanced" need to be updated properly. The animals, as far as I can tell, haven't been changed otherwise.

@gogis: you really should work on using bloodlust and oak stance. These change instantly, so you just make sure you switch out of bloodlust before the boar makes an attack. (swap at about 75 attack meter). Anticipate some lag, though. Nothing like getting hit with bloodlust on when you're fighting keeping your defense meter up. Having either of those on is a much better boost to combat performance than just using dodge which does absolutely nothing, even if you do have a crappy delta. If you feel brave, toggle on Death or Glory for a tick or two to get an extra IP here and there.
