Using charge on the tamer? If so you'd have to have combat meditation on for it to speed it up.

When you get knocked out by a bear or a boar and it stopps attacking you while you are still alive, you can still easily get killed by the same bear/boar, all it takes for that to happen is for it to be close to you when the knock out ends, even though you are still lying on the ground without moving it will attack you again when it ends. You can think you are safe because it runs away, only to get killed because it ran back to you before you could get away. So the safest thing to do in this situation is to log out of the game as soon as the animal has stopped attacking you. Because you are out of combat you will log out after a few secounds. Then choose to log back in again at your hearth fire, remember that logging out takes a few secounds, so do this right away, dont wait to see if it runs away, if it runs back to you just before you become conscious again you might not have time to log out, so your character will be killed before it logs out. So you will not find your character when logging back inside again.

Not sure who originally posted this, but a question about it in the Q&A thread made me think of it:

You can't empty a feed trough directly. However, you can use a trough to fill up a chicken coop. The coop does have an "empty fodder" button you can use to dump the old stuff out. Repeat as necessary to keep your troughs at or as close as possible to the quality of crops your filling them with.

Make that 69 tips now.

Endora already posted tip 69 monthes ago. :x

On the topic of troughes though, you can fill a trough you have lifted by right clicking the shadow with a fodder item in hand.

I didn't find this information in this thread so im glad i can share some tips:

#tip No.21343456
When searching for quality nodes of anything, turn on grid display on Ender's minimap. Center of quality always appears at crossing of those red grid lines. (Sadly i have no screenshots atm to picture it better)

#tip No.344511122
How to get yellow terrain type? I mean, how to terraform ground into it:
Find (brown) muds, those that give acre clay. Plant grass. Plow it. While ground usually turns to grass after a time, here it turns to yellow terrain.

How to get purple-ish terrain? (Im not 100% sure about this one, needs confirmation)
Do the same as above while on yellow terrain.

#tip No.23456
Was this posted? Lift a barrel with water, then r-click on tanning tube. Voila, tube is full.

#tip No.66234411
How to fill food through fast: Hold item in hand, keep shift pressed and r-click of through like crazy. The same shift-holding works with planting seeds or filling oven/smelter/kiln with fuel. I find it extremely helpful.
