It is but you'll need to overcome their damage soak value. They soak 20 damage, so you'll need 441 Strength bare handed, 400 strength with a stone axe, 361 with a pickaxe, 289 Strength with a sledge hammer, or 1 Strength with a battering ram.

Only real option here.

Not sure why you'd want to destroy it. I'm constantly running out of space and a log cabin makes a nice "tool shed" to store things in when not in use (like cupboards for seed sorting).

This is a learning experience. You can now grasp why it is better to expand big for when necessary, rather than blocking yourself into a small area. As Teck and MagicMan said, the only true option you have is to make a battering ram, which could be very inconvenient for you, requiring 5 bone glue and 4 ropes

Can I build a Brickwall adjacent to a palisade like so?

Will this interfere with the gate when building?
It hurt itself in its confusion!

Yes you can.

Also for any future village i'd recommend to make a larger palisade.
For exemple if you want your brickwall 100x100, first make the pali 160x160.

So when you have your brickwall, being inside the brickwall you'll be at 30 tiles minimum of the pali. you'll still have your pali being useful acting as an "anti-sniper" protection.

Regular damage, nothing special.

I would recommend that you not build the brick wall right on top of the palisade, though. If the wall breaks (from a ram or from decay) damage ripples to all adjacent squares. I wouldn't leave more than a one tile gap, though. Anything more than that and raiders could break a hole in the pali by hand and then rebuild it to protect a ram while you could do nothing about it.

Sniper range is 51 tiles. Ideally, you really want the outer edge of your work area at least this far from the wall.
