After hearing all the bad things about griefers in this game, I'm kinda paranoid when it comes to strangers. Yesterday I was traveling on a boat when a guy started approaching me when I disembarked to forage sth... Dunno if it was only a side view or he really then switched to a bow but I started fleeing as crazy in the opposite direction asap (in my boat of course).

It didn't really help that the guy continued to chase me for another minute tho.

sometimes when I see guys in newbie clothes I chase them a little bit too

for some people a boar tusk helmet is intimidating enough

but the paranoia stays.if I see a guy with a metal armor I run, If I see bear capers I'm very suspicous.also I trade with some guys from Poland and everytime I visit their village I'm kinda scared, although their lawspeaker is a very nice guy

Well, I had a bear cape + arming shirt too but if I got that, the guy going for the kill probably has something even better.

My standard approach meetin someone in anything else than newb cloth is: Jump out of the boat, take the boat to hands. Hit AEH. Done.... Paranoic I know, but I just can't help myself

you could move "teleport to hearth fire" to the hotkey bar, than its even faster.

most of the times I very careful too, but sometimes I want a little bit of action.my polish trading partners where attacked once and I ran between the front lines and managed it to gave my trading goods to an alt of my partners while the battle was raging

but since that day the let me teleport to their village idol instead of having to travel by boat
