We're not sure yet how this thing work. Can you tell if the beehive that started at its max quality was placed inside the range of another hive ? Maybe it replaced an other one ?
The one that started with low q, was it on a new spot, which means that no beehive was there before, neither is it in range of another hive ?

This is my experience so far, if it matches with yours, we may have something...

Ok, firstly I got one hive 35+ with 44ql honey, later I got two new hives ql 45+ or so, so I replaced an old one and made a new field for the other one. both had had terrible ql wax 14-20. so later I replaced a new one with the old one. So I have 1 35+ and 1 45+. And the old one produced wax 41ql right after I replaced them.
About overlapping - they had overlapped, but when I put them away from each other I didnt noticed any changes... I can make a screen if that would help

That old beehive ... you put it away for some time if I understand you correctly.
How long do you think you left is sitting outside the range of any growing crops? (GT:GameTime or RT:RealTime)

About 2 days RT, but it was on completely other field, low ql. But the field werent worked, so there werent any honey overflow. so I suppose it was out of the range of any growing crops.
