ah, Why is it so hard to find wild life? I mean have the hearth been purged so well that only a few survived of the animals?

It's actually super easy to find wildlife. Just boat a while with your boat and you'll find some.

You are not the only one, lol, my first ever death in HnH was also by drowning - 'Oooo, swimming! Nice lake, lets have some fun!' - I had so little in con I swam about 3 strokes and then sunk! :lol:

As for the wildlife, there seems to be more this world than ever before, i've just killed a herd of aurochs, took them home and then when I came back for a crate I left, they had been replaced with a herd of mouflon just a few tiles away!

My first death was almost by drowning in a cave lake too. I had assumed it was a relatively small pool of water I could cross in w3 and this was before custom clients were big and light hacks were available. I only just barely made it to the other side with maybe 1 or 2% stamina left. Water can be much more deadly than you think. =)

Heh, mine was by a boar. He took up camp in my camp, wrecked everything I tried to use as a shield, and killed me every time I respawned.

Damn spawcamping boars...

I do meet bear and boars but they seam to ignore me for some reason. Sure my camp had a boar in it but he didn't wreck anything. Don't think he saw me.

I think death by water is the best death. why? No one get to see your corpse nor your items. Sure it blows to lose all of your stuff.

My first death was by when I had just gotten Carpentry W4, and then a gentleman called Walrus decided I should "lure a bear to a river because my stats can be gotten in less than a minute". Bleh, I HAD CARPENTRY. That took DAYS! So basically I didn't lure it, he sniped me to KO with a sling, gave me a bandage, I took the bandage off (didn't know how it works), he decided to chase me around, I entered a house and hid behind a cupboard, and he shot me to death :(
