Thanks for all the comments guys!
I crafted a q59 sling from a couple of bears yesterday and went on a deer hunt.
You can imagine how happy I was when I got a lucky shot in and killed my first deer. I killed the remaining 3 deers and finally finished building my village idol.

I have alot of crops. Actually, I have them all. What I'm thinking right now is that I'm probably not going to need all of them and now with the VIDOL up in 24h I'm starting to thinking about minimizing. Which crops should I prioritize? Should I start making wine and Beer and become the best liquor store on the server, or would you recommend something else? "Hammies Bar for awesome people" doesn't sound too shabby does it?

Also, I had a tip on getting a highq (100?) Herbalist table ASAP. Any suggestions? I will probably get a q100 sling just to get the bears home more efficiently, but other than that. Whats the top 5 items to purchase for me right now? High Q metal grinder? High Q wine press?

Give me a hint bro.

I'd also like to add that the soil I'm living on is around q25, and I got a q33 water node a few tiles away. Nothing fancy.

Must be nice. Still hunting for carrots and poppies. :( Just can't get lucky on those!!

As far as a q100 herb table, there isn't anything to speed that up other than finding the best soil and water you can to grow trees (better tree pots help. Get those as high as you can.) You will have to grow or trade for the materials to build it. With the age of the world, there may be a few people that can produce them now, but they may not be trading the fibers and logs needed.

Oh, and top things to buy: good quality axe, a pick axe, metal cauldron, clay for a kiln, oven, and smelter. If you don't want to mine, skip the pick axe and smelter and get a sausage grinder. (Given the effectiveness of metal curios, I really suggest you do some mining even if it's just to make these). Some steel and wrought iron for a brick wall would be good, too.

From my experience:

Carrots - for perception leveling, plenty wax for hardened leather (minehole) and honey for honey bun and ring of brodgar, food for your animals. You will quickly drown in carrots, though, grow very fast.
Wheat - you need 600 straw for stone mansion. Flour for baking various shit.
Grapes - for wine. Wine is very good, look up at wiki. Even if it's low quality it's still very beneficial on many levels.
Hemp - for fibres.
Poppy - for RoB (not much psy food, really at start), + filler curio

Some onions - for pirozhki, perched perch and hurt FEP variety. Although I personally hate onions, and you can just wait till you start see mussels for dex/psy food.
Pumpkin and peas - FEP variety, but pretty boring shit.

Personally I hate baking, it require many ovens to bake efficiently, personally I prefer to get grinder and make wursts (hunting is so much funeh)

Would people pay for high Q wax? even in the future? And what about tobacco and beets?

Thanks again.

Depends on the player. Hermits that don't farm might pay well for it or for the products made with the wax. (Are a few hermits that only mine, hunt and forage.)

As far as crops in general, they won't sell very well. Tobacco is only useful when crafting PSY based items, and most people messing with that are already farming with good Q tobacco. Beets are only good as animal fodder in most people's opinion.
