To answer the question: if you're building the brickwall and palisade directly beside eachother, make sure the brickwall is on the outside. What can happen later on in the world is people would be able to handbreak the palisade, and then shelter a ram with it to then penetrate the wall

So given all that info would this be possible/better?

the red is the new pali, the blue is the brickwall and the yellow are the spots of the original palisade im going to ram down

Put the brickwall AROUND the palisade.

yeah, yeah i get that. the outside one will probably be torn down or something i dont know. but excluding that fact does, it work?

It would work, but unless you can palibash tearing it down would be an issue, as placing a ram out there makes you vulnerable to attacks

well thanks for the info. i guess the rule of thumb is you dont want someone to be able to rebuild your pali close enough to your bw to protect a ram?

I found a clay node, but I didn't think this far into the future. :P What's the most ideal use of clay? I'm not building a brick wall though. Containers seem to be a waste. Are just the clay curiosities the best bet?
