If it's the highest quality clay u have, you should use it to make kilns, smelters.

High quality clay is the cornerstone to basically every single item in the game.

I wouldn't say all that, but...

Better clay for kiln, better fired clay items (tree pots, bricks)
Better bricks, better baked goods, better smelter
Better clay pots, better trees
Better trees, better fuel for the kiln, smelter, and ovens
Better fuel makes better bricks
And the cycle repeats until you're fingers ache from the overuse of the mouse.
Oh, better smelter and fuel, better metal bars (and thus armor, tools, etc).

And if it's acre clay, making Toy Chariots is certainly nice. They're not great, but they're steady LP for only a few attention.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Actually, better fuel, makes better fuel. And better fuel makes better fuel.
Then, better fuel makes better pots, which makes better trees, which make better fuel. And better fuel makes better fuel.
And pies.

does the quality of an item you use for a repair affect the quality of the item being repaired? example if my loom is q30ish and I use a q10 plant fiber to repair it, will it drop my loom quality, or if I use a q50 taproot will it raise it?

How high would your farming attribute have to be to get x quality of crop? I'm starting to farm but I'm trying to choose whether or not to plant a seed that is probably higher quality than what I'll get out, but I want to know when I could plant it and increase its quality. Anyone know the equation or just a guideline to that?
