I heard that if trees are planted in the "wrong" terrain they take really long to grow.

From what i understand, the tree would convert it to it's native terrain over time, however native trees will always be faster.

There are two types of forest: broadleaf and coniferous. Coniferous are pine, spruce, and yew (i'd guess... haven't tried to grow one yet). Broadleaf is everything else (birch, elm, oak, maple, mulberry, apple, hazelnut, willow). Make sure you plant on the right type.

Yeah, when you grow non-native plants on any kind of land, it converts the land as it grows to its native terrain so you'll eventually have a tree growing area that is native for that tree type. It has a chance to convert a number of tiles at each growth stage.

Is there a way to stop plowed land from becoming "unplowed" overtime?

Ask the farmer out in the country the same question. I bet he'd like to never have to plow up weeds in his field before planting, either.

I'm glad we don't have to plow every time we want to replant. That was a nice change from most other games that have a farming component.

Hello so I was wandering around in the Heath biome looking for chiken at night and I found a strange looking creature that looks like a live skeleton walking with
alot of mouflons I was so scared I didn't took a screenshoot and ran away back home . I looked in the internet for this creature and I only find about this Dryad .
Are they adding new creatures to the game ? and can someone explain to me what I saw ? thanks for your time .

Suffered my first death today, got demo'd by a bear who was spawned outside the cave i logged out in.
If i make a new char with my old ones bloodline will he spawn near my old chars claim? Or what?

yep if you inherit and go up the ladder you'll get spawned next to your old HF
