Last world my cows where slaughtered and I placed calves with the sheep to try to save their Q and they starved badly, even sheep had babies.
So, I think calves do not feed from sheep milk. Could it be something else? maybe, Im not sure what was it but could not find any other possible motive.

To guarantee myself that calves do not starve I milk the cows and place milk in a barrel so they feed from it. I think a barrel covers the same radius than a fooder.
Meanwhile the barrel has milk and calves in its radius they are ok.

Not to speed it up. If you want to burn legitly, it's 2 branches, light, and wait 10.6 minutes. The fuel bug is 1 branch is put in, you wait 5 minutes, light, and wait 5.3 minutes. The burning time takes 5.3 minutes per tick, so it does speed it up a little, but only by 33 seconds.

What the above poster said is incorrect. You will never get it under 10.6 minutes.

Shield is for Melee Combat. For UA you don't need a shield.
So, shield enables you to use the Shield manuever, which is the Melee version of manuevers you use when you go unarmed.
Without a shield, your Melee Combat is useless when someone punches you, and your UA counts. If you have 1 UA, and go full melee, say 100 melee, someone with even 5 UA can destroy your defense in one hit if you don't have a shield.
Edit: Oh yes, and when you have 100 melee and use shield manuever, your defense is same as 125 UA and dodge manuever.
