i just smelted up a batch of q10 iron ore and it came out as rocks and tin any one else have this happen?

a portion of smelted materials end up as useless rocks. Plus i hear there's a glitch that says that ore is iron, and you get tin and stuff. idk

In a cave you just have to find a soft spot and be lucky to find any ore at all, I found some copper currently, Just get your strength up so you can hit in harder areas.

Are the ores in clusters... like veins?

when this world started, I found a small cave. very shallow, with a spot already cleared on the far wall. I was just mining for the 4rth time in that spot and got an iron ore.

I dont think Ive ever seen a quality number on ore before, but maybe Im a fool.

You can build houses in mines and caves, that was added with the last update in World 3. I would assume you can build cellars in said houses.

What would be cool is if you could build a full village in a mine in a mine in a cave. Be pretty annoying to break into, since you would have to build a new ram each time.

Its becoming dwarf fortress!!
would be an epic idea though
with maybee farms on the surface and everything else underground
