After a few seconds (when it will be out of sight actually), It will come back to you and follow you without attacking (see top right icon, it's still "fleeing" fight).

This also applies to bears. I once had a bear following me for a an hour or so, just to see if it would ever re-aggro. Never did. Looked pretty badass walking around with me, though.

One village claim can hold as many charterstones as you like. This is useful because you can use them in order to have a set warping point in your village without the time consumed by finding the proper cr, etc.

For example: Hearthfire by a clay spot, CS warp next to a bunch of kilns. It can make things much more efficient.

I believe you can do this with as many ropes as you can put in your inventory. If you are out taming and can keep the ropes straight, you can swap out the ropes and tame 3+ animals at once.

You can port with items held in your cursor. For example, you are out foraging and fill your inventory and want to port home. You can hold your armor in your cursor to get rid of the agi debuff and save yourself some travel weariness.

Party some far away friends, thunder on one of their portraits, watch them freak out, and let the lulz roll.

Good trick to use if you want to force a character to stay online, too. (I'm not sure why you'd want this, but I can think of a few possible things.)

Raids are a possibility where you are constantly on a foreign claim and you want to keep people online who tend to crash a lot.

Yeah and leash 5 cows as well.

Also, your speed when you leash the cow, define the speed of the cow itself.
Make it sprint, and you'll be able to take back cow to your settlement faster (Which is great if you actually have a boat : go into boat, travel 40 tiles into water, get back on shore so the cows reach you, ...).
Or make it crawl if you have some difficulties to lead the cow wherever you want (through a gate for exemple).
