It's based on level. And it's pretty much guarenteed to rape you some how. When I first started in w4, we had a guy grab mining and just start hacking into the walls. We came in about 20 minutes later, dude's dead, wall's all fucked, so we had no idea what happened. Assumed it was bears.

Fuckin' Cave bears...

LMFAO

I was telling someone earlier when I started in World 4 I assumed my dreamcatcher had to go next to my bed and I had to sleep in it to spawn dreams.....

Pretty sure we had that too, we had a group of 40 brand new people getting taught by two guys who might've played in w3 for a decent amount of time. It was interesting to say the least.

I still think prices of gold should be higher. Diference between w7 and w6 will be, that in w6 30 people found 80bar gold nodes, and 15 of them found 5x gold nodes, and 5 of them found 10+ gold nodes. So there was too much gold in whole world. Just remember w3 for example, where 2-3 factions had gold. And the price for thanes, which was hm, like huge amount of cheese, 1000-2000 points or so, compared to nowadays when prices were like 250 for pair. Well, it was 600 points in begining and as more people had gold, prices dropped.

L1 - 50 dmg
L2 - 100 dmg
L3 - 200 dmg
L4 - 400 dmg
L5 - 800 dmg

This is full hit. If you wear miner helm = 1/2 of it. And don't forget there is a random chance of being hit by 2 or more caveins, for the lucky ones.

From what I've been told, the factions were much better organized back then, and there wasn't the whole "Abuse everything you can to get ahead and fuck over as many people along the way!" mentality running rampant.

This world seems to be more akin to the "I was hot shit last world because of this, so I'm just going to do whatever the fuck I want to do!" Most people never band up and organize, which will make that kind of market that much harder to regulate. The superpowers that be had faded into yesteryear last world, I'd like to see new ones arise, but I'd also prefer to see a market of more then just two major factions.

I tried to build a minehole once, but with the wrong prospecting thing and the effort it asked, i've changed my mind and mined mostly in caves. Probably i remember bad about mine then, sorry for that.
About the supports, the only metal used in the mines are nails. All is made out of wood, and yes, it can support a mountain if you do it right.

Now i wonder..should we care about a couple of nails and stop people from mine if ther's no more the way to mine without supports?
I strongly like that ther's no more the chanche to snakemine. That was nonsense and too easy.
But now you MUST find a cave with ore in the wall.

Who have some metal, have not problems with a couple of shitty nuggets in a support. So who already have the metal, isn't affected by that request.
Who is in need of metal, can't build support and find metal and have the need of a farmer alt to craft the wax needed for the mine. (+1 to alts)

To play wthis game without being a bait for any other players, you need at last a brickwall so it's not an option, but a must.
It seems more a disavantage for hermits than anything else. And i don't get the need to disavantage hermits and boost the needs of alts.

was going to write this.
But then i fell at sleep.... XD

Honestly jorb,IMO you should change this..I don't want to get my face smashed in because I mined in one tile. There should be an X amount of tiles you can mine before a hell rains down upon the miner.

It's mining past the first tile that'll kill you. If you're on natural floor and mine in, you're fine, it's connecting mined tiles that will cause cave in's.

Ahh okay, I must've missed that earlier in this thread then. I just hope I don't get smooshed.
