When you use the reapir action on an object it tells you what is needed. For herb table it's a board if i remember correctly.

Yes, with boards. From experience. :x

Are livestock available for pregnancy immediately after giving birth, or are they on cooldown until their calves grow up?

They can become pregnant again immediately but becareful about having too many calves and not enough milk.

Mmm.

So if a calf drinks 5L per day, and a tamed cow produces 0.1L/10 min or 14.4L a day... Yes, that seems manageable. Provided no twins are born, even persistent aggressive breeding seems like it could be compensated for with 3 clovers over the course of 10 days. Cheers!

Is there any way to stop (or slow) the decay of plowed fields into regular dirt? I'm tired of having to replow my fields every time I log in.

There is no way.
When farming, just hand-plow the regular tiles. It will make you hungry as well, which is good.

base damage * sqrt(sqrt(str*quality)/10) if memory serves. I don't remember what the formula for punch is
