You can't. Just kill them.

its cheating, but if you close the client and quickly log in at your hf you've warped to your hf while knocked out...so sort of yes

Not cheating at all. If you're engaged in combat then logging out won't do a thing besides make you sit there motionless. For most people, combat is the only time when you're likely to be knocked unconscious. If an animal KOs you and decides to not kill you and drops aggro, then logging out and warping to hearth still leaves you unconscious but now you're at your HF.

I was thinking more along the lines of guy knocks you out plans to rob you but no kill you, you can possibly get to hf before you lose all your stuff...and that way it seems like cheating. guess it all depends on situation.

If you're KOed by a player then you're still engaged in combat.
