Stealing a chest with items will leave one scent. I am not sure if each item can be tracked but I wouldn't think so.

Stealing a chest with items will leave one scent. I am not sure if each item can be tracked but I wouldn't think so.

You can steal chest get it out of claim, take items and break chest (or leave it there) so the items cant be tracked however you and yer hf still can with the1 scent u left

3. If I use a scent to force summon a theif, how long will his hearthling appear for. I'm kind of noob and take a really long time to kill anything, even ants
My friend (Sort of Hunter/Killer) can only come on a few hours after the ram is ready , but I'm hoping to move as soon as the glue is dry

If you summon them on their hearthfire they will remain in the game world until you break combat with him. If you break their hearthfire and summon them they will die instantly.

If you bash his hearth fire, then summon him he will appear as a corpse.
That will decay after 20-40 minutes
