I'm trying to activate an idol and having some trouble. It's been set for well over 24 hours, I have 30k lp and lawspeaking yet i still cant found the village. When i hit found village no error messages come up and nothing happens.. halp

I have 2 guesses
1) name should be in English only, when I built my idol I tried other language for a name and couldn't do it
2) Idk if you can be a law speaker if you are member of another village or even a ls of it

The answer to that is "No". You have to leave the village you are in before you join or found another village.

I placed the wi and the coal, waited the 56 hours, then I placed a block to fuel. I am still cooking it, because no steel was made.

Cranny it was meant sarcastic by Arcanist as bmjclark answer was just too simple - fuel bug doesn't work when steel cooking (to be honest i had asked Arcanist about as i wasn't sure myself)

Why wont my male sheep eat? Or am I just confused.

First sheep tamed was female, brought it to base. Right after, from the same herd tamed another and it was male. Brought the male to the base, placed them in the same enclosed area with access to a fully stocked trough. The trough had food above quality of 10.

Fast forward about 12 hours, I log back in and notice the female has a food quality eaten of 16, while the male is still at a food quality eaten of 10.

Also I am noticing the "Red bar" on the male sheep is noticeably lower than that of the female sheep. What does the red bar represent? Is this normal?

The red bar is their hunger at the moment. That goes up and down.

The Brown bar next to it is what you need to worry about, when that goes down, it never goes back up, and it will lower the quality of products you get from the animal

It has happened to me that when I get a wild animal the first hours after it is domesticated it does not eat.
And after that my first batch of babies came down on quality getting lower than 10. They started regaining Q on the third generation.
Happened with cattle and with chicken.
