Also I am noticing the "Red bar" on the male sheep is noticeably lower than that of the female sheep. What does the red bar represent? Is this normal?

pregnant females eat a lot more than males, that is why. so, it is normal. not just with sheep but with all others.
in general, males take long to raise its "food eaten" quality because they dont get as hungry as pregnant females do.

*edit*
forgotten about the bar;
as others said, "red bar" is the animal's hunger bar. when it is filled red, the animal is full, which means it has eaten. most likely your female sheep had just eaten some and male hadnt eaten yet when you checked. unless the red bar is going down like more than half, you dont have to worry. (when the animal has the hunger bar too low for too long, the beige bar - i call it "starvation bar" - gets lowered)

Animals will eat after tamed. The question usually is if they are eating out of the trough or eating grass, which is the reason you keep them over grass. (No idea if this bug has ever been fixed.)

Animals do have a random range of [-5, 20], so you can see an overall decrease on quality. (Had one calf born of a couple of Q10 cows come out with everything under 10 and another a weekish later from the same animals at mostly over 10.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

heh, i thought that was the very reason you keep them penned on paved tiles so that they never eat from grass. (i just dont do it only because i find it ugly to keep animals on paved and looks like im abusing them.)

and i dont think that is the main question for this guy here. female 16 to male 10, it looks about the normal rate to me considering its only been 12hrs and they are his first sheep, unless his food trough is of much higher quality (like q100+) or it has been more than a few days since tamed.

Is it possible for some random player to just walk into my house on a claimed land and take a nap in my bed? How the heck do I kick them out? He's been there for three days already

Nah, just destroy the bed or something.
I mean, it's possible.

Are you sure it's not actually you? Sometimes if you log out by sleeping in a bed and then log in at your hearthfire it will still show someone sleeping in your bed until you click on it again. If it really is someone else, destroying the bed as Nooby said is your only option.

Yeah, definitely not me... Well it was just a spruce bed, so I destroyed it. Thanks.

How to use blackpepper?

Postby murjantu » Sat Sep 21, 2013 9:19 pm

Hi there! Im a bit confused about this blackpepper thing. I've managed to get q 12 blackpepper (crafted in a quern). And in wiki (ring of brodgar) it says i have to have +50% fep more in a food.

So:

1. can i use it in all foods?
2. is it random when the fep raises?
3. where does this work? can i just add the pepper in the food or does it need to be in my inventory/ table/ somewhere else?

i hope i managed to ask all questions i need an answer.

Thannnnk you! <3
