edit: sure post the exact same thing I'm posting while I'm posting it :P

Well, I've been living near a mountain this world. It's proven to be.... interesting. If you have no tolerance for other people's BS, definitely avoid it. What you said is basically the same advice you'd give anyone anywhere. Since frog's crowns and glimmermoss are such major curios (and I forget what else on a mountain), they've become a bit of a hotspot.

Another thing to consider: SOMEONE is going to likely try and claim the mountain (assuming you don't do it yourself). Plan on buying Vandalism and possibly Trespassing so that you can continue foraging there.

Thanks for the thoughts. I still might claim the mountain just so I can name it though...
It hurt itself in its confusion!

Nope! Quality is irrelevant.

Nope! Quality is irrelevant.

To be even more general: If the item is under the build menu, quality is unimportant with these two exceptions:

Items used to craft on (loom, anvil, etc)
Furniture that provides a bonus to the player: Table, chair, and the three beds (spruce bough, straw, sturdy).

you forgot about:
wine barrels affecting wine quality
curding tray affecting curd quality
cheese tray affecting cheese quality
cauldron affecting a bunch of qualities
...and a lot more exceptions, but yes I know most stuff doesn't matter. like I said it was a stupid question, I just didn't know. thanks for the answers :ugeek:

No, I didn't. Those are all items used to craft on/in. Was it really necessary to list everything?
