Also what is the best way to hide from possible raiders seeking to retrieve their "stolen" goods.
What happened is that i accidently exited my boat on a village claim (didnt had vclaims visible checked, only pclaims). So my boat was full of good stuff like deer antlers and curios i didnt want to abandon because its mine really... So after taking it back i checked the wiki on how long theft scents stay and its apparently 2 days 16 hoursc

Do decay hits while the map is loaded or on map load? e.g. if I wanted to hurry the decay of a certain palisade around a downed tclaim, should I keep an alt logged in near it or periodically log said alt in and out?
