Get a string (stinging nettle or spindly taproot). Build a dream catcher. Wait 10 mins. Right-click it. Click Harvest. Take 5 branches, build hearth fire.

Do decay hits while the map is loaded or on map load? e.g. if I wanted to hurry the decay of a certain palisade around a downed tclaim, should I keep an alt logged in near it or periodically log said alt in and out?

i'll answer this myself: decay happens for sure while the map is loaded. Possibly also in other circumstances, I am unsure.

Decay will hit the same if the map is loaded and if it is not. There is no way to encourage decay ticks to hit an area, or to happen more often.

They happen when they want to happen, where they want to happen.

I suggest you to read how beehives work, then you can understand best way to do them (that is if you are aiming for high quality wax). There is a guide posted somewhere in forums, not sure which section.

You are allowed to do that, yes. You dont actually need permission though. The only games you cannot record and upload to youtube are ones that make you sign a non disclosure agreement (NDA) before playing, and those typically are closed betas.

These forums could always use some more information for new players that is easily accessible, and a decent youtube video might just inspire a few people to play the game. More players is always good.

Yeah, but according to wiki a beehive produces wax/honey after a stage has completed. Pumpkin has 6 of them and maybe it would be best to plant those a lot with a lot of beehives.

Pumpkins stages are extremely slow though. Carrots are the best for wax/honey because the wax honey output is determined by the number of stage changes over a short period of time (like 20 minutes or so). Carrots will have the most changes the fastest and so will output the most wax/honey.
