If you can keep up with your farming points then you can level carrots' quality the fastest as well. Do not let the hive radius overlap any other crop type at all, ever, and you can get a decent output rate with great wax quality.

As Ramo suggested, read the guide on the topic, it's worth it.

Do animal skeletons decay (provided I don't pick up their final bones)? Or do they last forever as human skeletons do?

yes they do so you should take it before it decays forever.

Thanks man that helped me a lot. I have made part 1 and it's on youtube on the same user name. One question about the beehives do they last forever? i mean do they run out of wax?

Beehives get wax as crops grow. When crops stop growing, beehives stop getting wax. When they start growing, beehives can get wax again.

Carrots will have the most changes the fastest and so will output the most wax/honey.

Old wisdom is that pumpkins don't get a speed boost from hives, so would they even produce wax and honey?
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I'm sure that they do produce wax and honey, hadn't heard that thing about hives not speed boosting pumpkins but too lazy to check.

There is no real problem with bee hive radius' overlapping different types of crops at the same time. It still gives them all the speed boost and it will still produce wax and honey.

Yes, true, but if a player is planting high Q carrots, for getting high Q wax, and plants several crops in the radius the quality will be lower than the one he could achieve with only carrots.
