Why would wax quality suddenly drop back to down to a lower quality and then cease to rise at all. Before it was on the rise, slowly, but steadily, suddenly it dropped and is no longer rising.

It depends on the crops that grow around it, and when you replant, that "stage" the quality is halved. So if you really need to keep quality, you should put your beehive into a cart while you replant, then set your beehive back when the crops are all planted. Other than that, I believe beehives reset to 100 quality if the map they are at has been unloaded/refreshed.

Hopefully this is a simple question. If I remove a support beam within range of a different support beam, will it still cause a cave in or have a chance to cause a cave in?

removing any support beam will cause a multitude of cave ins (including ones in the black, unmined tiles) within it's support radius.

Aparently there is a chance for it to cause a chain reaction and take down other supports too, but I've never seen this.

Make and alt give it a full flask and use it to demolish the support u are wanting to remove.
If it gets killed make another one and so on.

You will need afterwards to demolish the cave ins if you want the area to be clean.

To get less number of cave ins you can place construction signs, as the area covered by the construction does not get them. This I learned from XCom that used stone mansion signs. Im guessing any house sign will do, and maybe even any construction sign can be used, ofc according to the size of the area.

Will road signs dissapear if I drop them on the ground? If not, can they be destroyed?

Also can crossroads be destroyed by a foreigner with criminal acts on? If so, where should I place the exit crossroad?

Road signs will disappear after a while like any other dropped item.
To destroy it in an instant, drop it in a river. If you have no access to rivers make a couple of wicker baskets, put them at the wall of your house, put your sign in one of them, destroy the basket and hope the sign lands in black area. If it doesn't, repeat.

Can prospect find and track traces of a node from THAT far away?

Prospected the first time and kept at it until I've found copper, then went down the tunnel prospecting more ,as I've still got extract, and got a reading. Apparently its the same damn node =/
I gave up after taking this screenshot, wasting my time for hours now carrying logs thinking the node is at least close by.
