I havent found guide how to mate animals... is it enought they are in same fence and they mate automatically or u have to make them mate...

Is it possible to build a minehole in level 1 (cave) then build a village idol in level 2 and after that destroying the minehole leaving a secure vault beneath it? Nobody will know you build a minehole there so it should be safe in my eyes. Also, does anyone know what happens if you get tracked using scents. Im really not familiar with that so my guess is that it will point your hf above the level you currently are but can someone confirm this? Another question i have is whether its possible to build chicken coops and other buildings on mined surface. Can anyone tell me please what the mined surface tile equals to (something like paved stone with a few restrictions)?

It is possible to make that vault.
When you're tracked it shows above layer, same tile.
I'm pretty sure you have to pave in a minehole, then build something.

Checked this and you can build a log cabin underground on mined tiles. Imo, theres no reason anymore to stay above ground once you have the material to build a vault like this (except for the crops and stuff)

I guess you live in a village where people look out for each other, but some do not. When a powerful village decides to remove you from the world you probably wont have chance against them.
Besides is there a reason not to do this?

It's random and automatic. Sometimes they start mating as soon as you tame the animals, other times it can take days.

Someone earlier asked about making wine glasses... you don't need to make the whole process, just take the finished product out of the kiln, oven, smelter, etc in cases where the items are processed in a building of any kind (wine, glass, metal, etc). In some cases, such as boards and blocks where you have the items go directly to inventory, you do have to make it with that character. Hold the middle mouse button and drag. This works with all the clients. You can also click the MMB on a spot to center the camera there.
