Its not enough to merely have all the materials. You have to DISCOVER the materials first. For instance: A straw doll needs straw and plant fibers. You have to actively harvest some wheat and some hemp/flax in order to discover the ingredients. Merely grabbing straw and fibers from a cupboard isn't enough.

i did discover the materials. i was able to fix the problem by logging on to the unmodded version (i use ender's mod), building it, logging back onto the modded version, and i was able to build it anywhere after that. so im guessing it was a glitch with the mod?

my friend quit haven and hearth like 2 weeks ago and before he left he said i can have his stuff....sadly he forgot to remove claim, so im asking if anyone knows how to not lose HP when you steal stuff. he gave me his key to open gate and i can get in and also have theft and vandalism, but im worried i might die again.....can anyone tell me how to remove the HP lose?

You might wait till your friend has been inactive for a month and destroy the claim stake or you'll build a village idol and "Revoke the priveledge" on the claim stake ...

Separate your bulls and cows. You can keep your male bull in a fence gate and trap it in there by closing the gate.

Some history: I fount a pali which is broken. No claim over it, however there was a lot of boats with chests full of different crap there. I am concerned, that that crap might be scented with theft.

Question: I know that thief scent decay, and will disappear in 2-3 days. I.e. you will not be able to track person nor his HF. Does it also applicable for scented goods? Will they be "scent free" after 2-3 days?

If so, why on trade forums scented goods are sold with discount/marked as scented. Using logic above they should become untraceable.

That's correct, once the scent has expired no one can track the item or thief. Scented items tend to come with a shady past and so they're sold cheap for the same reason you sell items to a fence for less than they're worth. Hot goods aren't worth keeping around and people aren't always comfortable buying them.
