Trees Decay in Village/Pclaim

Postby curlymatt » Thu Dec 26, 2013 5:39 am

So I know that if you put things in a village or player claim that it slows decay and maybe I'm under the impression that decay ceases for items like palisades and brick walls (but I'm not sure).

For trees will the slow in decay on a village or player claim stop the accumulation of regeneration (branches, boughs etc...?) after growth stages are complete? Is it better to tree farm outside your claim?

I wouldn't have asked this if I didn't already search the forums for this answer but I'll be happy to be forwarded to another post if I missed it.

Is gone. For everything that stands on a claim, with the exception of things that need to stand on pavement (Immobile structures), which will still decay if they are placed on a non-paved tile. (A claimed kiln will decay if built on dirt for example). Portable stuff that should typically be placed indoors still decays while outdoors. For example: Anvil, Wardrobe, Cupboard, Spinning Wheel, Loom, Meat Grinder, Coinpress. That may or may not be all.

claims do not affect tree decays. i would still recommend to place pclaim on your tree farms, though, to avoid any animals spawning which could disturb your tree growths.

There's no way to stop HP loss when acting criminal but healing yourself with gauze...

There is no way to stop yourself from losing health when you commit vandalism or theft. This was added because certain players were creating so many scents in one spot/an area that it caused problems for the server so this was the fix Loftar implemented. You only lose a point of HHP each time, you just have to be careful when you are committing the acts.

The see-behind-object yellow outline

Postby Dondy » Sat Dec 28, 2013 12:44 am

The yellow outline I usually can see when I stand behind an object is not appearing. Is this a bug or something changed? Temporary? I vaguely remember it not working temporarily before. Anyone know?
