How do I build a banner? I've discovered linen cloth and am the lawspeaker. Do I need a certain amount of authority first? I just don't see it as an option in my government menu.

I know this is a really stupid question, but have you discovered branches? I know some toons I have, that I keep hidden away, surprise me when they discover something so simple I thought they already had.

by prospecting a bit in a cave i would say it doesnt , cos were i found no ore mining cave wall i did manage to prospect metals underneath it in lvl2

No, it's on that level only, even though it certainly could happen that there's another vein of the same metal ore type on the level below or above.

Furthermore, each level has a natural quality increase of q10/lvl down, i.e. lvl1 = q10, lvl 2 = q20 ore, etc. Furthermore, a quality node (just like for soil, clay, water etc.) could overlap an ore vein which would add to the quality of the ore.
