Buy stuff from here: viewforum.php?f=35

You need a village idol and a trade alt (alt without a hearthfire).

Or you can craft the following items with them: Pearl Necklace, Ring of Brodgar (Jewelry), Silver River Goblet

The necklace requires 20 pearls, RoB's need 3 + gold nugget + goldbeaters skin, and the goblet needs 8 + a bar of silver.

What if there are no rabbits?

Postby brookswift » Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:42 am

I've spent all day looking for a rabbit or a chicken. I finally found another person and he gave me bones, but I can't use them to make a bone saw or a fish hook because I didn't "discover" the bone material myself. I'm swimming in leeches, foxes, deer, toads, and various bugs, but no sign at all of a rabbit. I've only seen swampland and coniferous forests. I'm trying to get started, but I don't really have much else I can do, as I'm pinned in by water. What would I need to be able to take out a fox or other animal? I've got a stone axe. That's gotta be good for something.

So I settled in someones previous home that was unclaimed. The only way into this claim is through a cave hole from another cave hole because the brick wall gate is locked and its pretty annoying to have to travel through the caves to get back.

There is an outer brick wall with an inner palisade, part of the palisade and brick wall are right next to each other. From reading other posts when you ram a palisade it damages everything in a radius when it goes including brick walls.

My question is this. If I ram the palisade how much damage to the brick wall will it do? Will it destroy the part next to the palisade or will it only damage it a little bit? If it only damages the brick wall and not destroying it can I rebuild that part of the palisade and ram it until the brick wall is destroyed?

My other question. There is a couple statues of a chieftain left over from a village claim that is gone. What are the requirements to destroy one of these? Is the same as destroying a month old personal claim?

Thanks ZZ

have axe equipped - right click dead fox - first choose skin to get the hide and put in a drying rack, then butcher to get Insterines and meat which you can roast over fire - at last collect bones - now you have discovered bones and are able to use them in recipes

There is a read me first, also a good guide by sevenless and jordancoles protips in the forums and also RoB Wiki http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Haven_and_Hearth_Wiki ... read and study to find out more ;)

you need a certain STR to damage a BW - so prolly even if you're able to destroy the Palli with a ram you won't scratch the Brickwall - read about requirements :

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Palisade
http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Brickwall

I'm not sure about the soak value of a Statue but without Authority they are destroyable and my guess with an ok tool you don't need that much STR

inactive pclaim stake destroying

Can fence gates in village claims be opened by foreigners (can they be "activated" just like runestones?) or do they need to turn on criminal acts in order to do so?

I recently logged into a very old alt account, I made the account purely to hold things, however the account seems to have absolutely no characters on it at all. I made the character around five months ago I know I did very little to the character other than hand it some tsacks and pick up things, is there a system to purge inactive characters? If so what is the bare minimum you need to do to make a character not inactive?
