Also, if I seal a cornerpost, does it prevent gates from being built, or only walls?

build initial CP, make 2 segments in wanted directions, seal initial CP, build further segments, to be able to build a gate only 1 CP has to be unsealed

One thing I like to do while the initial CP is drying is prepare for the rest of the palisade by chopping down trees and putting the logs where they'll be needed or by putting down another initial corner post construction banner and use that to store all the logs chopped onto blocks.

If you do this BE CAREFUL and store the blocks where players cant get to them or they can grief you easily since you just made it that much easier to build more of the palisade by prepping.

Don't worry about the lag meter. If it twitches instead of continuing to go forward, there's no big lag. When it twitches you have 2 seconds to make a move and move back. This is a large amount of time and covers the quick reaction time of all normal teenagers and young adults, and most adults. It's enough to casually use the move and position yourself back safely. I've made the mistake of being nervous and doing it too quick or messing up before, and maybe this is your problem? Hope it works out for you.

Another question. Is the Pickaxe about two times as good as a Stone Axe is for mining? I'm curious because I got a q35 Stone Axe and I can make a q24 Pickaxe. ^^

Is Yeomanry the ONLY pre-requisite to stake claim to be avaliable on the adventure menu?
I got mine, but a friend who started playing, and already got yemanry dosen't have it on his adventure menu! I even logged into his account to see if it was a problem on his side, but still, his char doesn't have the "claim stake" on adventure menu, even having yeomanry bought on skill list! And I remember mine showing up just as I got yeomanry skill!

Pickaxes are faster but the higher q stone axe will allow you to mine harder rock.

About 2x faster, but burn stamina about 50% faster. It's been a while since I've done rudimentary testing on them.
