Uh yes it does? lol

No it doesn't.
If you log out with 5 minutes left on the buff, then it has 5 minutes left when you log back in.

I haven't played for about a year, so what are the majors changes that have been made since the beginning of 2013?

Not too much I don't think. Main one is cabins and houses have a wait period before you can build them (3 in-game days 1 real-life day, from placing the sign down). Also combat has been changed some so movement hits aren't as strong, and there is defensive weight on KO'd hearthlings, and swords had their base damage lowered I guess. You can pick up a lot of this poking around on the forum. ;)
Hearthlings: Marona; Chamberlain (retainer alt), Vincavec (shaman of the Dryad Wells Forest)

Another sericulture question. Is it advisable not to put more than one pair of silkmoths in a container? I've read that there might be a bug that still persists that cause all the silk moths not to leave eggs. I think I have seen this first hand but not sure. If you can put more than one pair in a container, when the moths mate does the game use the "last one in first one out" rule it does for everything else so you can organize which moths mate with certain moths?

Tree question. Will removing branches, bark etc from trees not in their final stage lower q? I read a post that claimed this did happen but loftar removed it.

Thanks ZZ

Can't say for sure on the moth issue. I've never experienced, but never had a massive silk operation, either.

No, but you can, if you're there at the time the three is to grow, stunt it permanently.

So your saying that if someone is in the vicinity of the map grid that the tree is on and it tried to grow at that same time it will stunt its growth permanently?

No, it will not.

But it may stunt that growth, and it will need to wait for the next cycle to grow on.

I see what MagicMan was saying. Hes just saying that anything that blocks your path that is placed within about 5 squares of a tree will stunt its growth including players. So if there is a growth about to happen and someone just happens to walk by that tree they can stunt it. I guess I'll just leave my growing trees the hell alone then.

So you can't permanently stunt a tree anymore? That's good news if it's true.

What I didn't mention before and I should have: immature trees have a depressed quality level, so harvesting from them is really pointless. If the tree will be q30 fully mature, the branches as soon as you can harvest them might be q10 (sorry, don't have firm math on this, so don't take that number as gospel, just a rough guesstimate).
